The Vision

Every story deserves a saarthi.

A saarthi is the charioteer — the one who holds the reins so the hero can focus on the fight. The saarthi steadies the journey, carries the load, and clears the road. And the saarthi never claims the victory, because it belongs to the warrior.

The role we choose

In service of the story.

That is who Saarthi chooses to be for Gujarat's storytellers — not the hero of the story, but the one who carries it. We're proud to stand among the filmmakers, artists, producers, and studios taking Gujarati cinema forward, and we're here to serve their work.

The Moment

Gujarati cinema is rising.

This is a proud moment. Gifted filmmakers, artists, producers, and studios have carried Gujarati cinema from a quiet revival to national recognition — the day Hellaro won the National Award for Best Feature Film was a moment every one of us shared. The doubt that once shadowed our films is gone.

And yet we all know the same road. So much of our best work is still finished far from home — the sound, the colour, the final craft sent to Mumbai. Too many of our finest people leave, too, because there isn't yet enough here to hold them. It isn't for a lack of talent. It's for a lack of a home built to keep it — a challenge we all share, and one we'd like to help solve, with everyone.

Our Part to Play

We add. We never replace.

Gujarat already has gifted studios and storytellers. We simply want to bring a few things the whole community can use — and build them alongside you.

01

Keep the craft home

An integrated studio so films can be made — and finished — in Gujarat.

02

A bridge of trust

Help storytellers and the partners who believe in them find each other.

03

Help our talent stay

Mentorship and steady work that give Gujarat's talent a reason to build here.

04

Carry Gujarat to the world

Help our stories reach audiences everywhere Gujarati is spoken.

The chariot is ready, and the road is open. We'd be honoured to carry Gujarat's stories forward — with you.

Where It Leads

The road ahead.

If you make, back, shoot, score, or simply love Gujarati stories — there's a place for you.
