AI Filmmaking

AI Filmmaking & Visual Production.

Not a novelty, and not a replacement for a crew. AI is now a real part of how we develop, visualise and produce work — and for a regional studio, it closes a gap that used to be decided entirely by budget.

Why It Matters

Reimagining the filmmaking process.

A Gujarati film has never had the budget of a Hindi one. What it lacked was rarely talent — it was the ability to try an idea before committing money to it, and to finish at a standard audiences now expect by default. That is precisely what these tools change.

We are not interested in AI as a shortcut around craft. We are interested in it as the thing that lets a small studio in Ahmedabad test twenty visual ideas in a week instead of one, and put the saving on screen.

In Practice

Where AI fits into production.

These are workflows we actually run — not a list of what the technology could theoretically do.

01

Concept & Visual Development

Building the look of a film — worlds, palettes, costume and mood — while it is still cheap to change your mind.

Development
02

Storyboards & Previsualisation

Seeing a sequence before it is shot, so decisions about coverage and blocking are made on a screen rather than on set.

Pre-Production
03

Generative Video & Plates

Generated shots, environments and plates used where a location, era or scale would otherwise be out of reach.

Production
04

Character & Brand Assets

Developing consistent characters, mascots and brand worlds that hold up across a whole campaign.

Design
05

VFX & Post Workflows

Clean-up, extension, captioning and language versioning assisted by AI inside our pipeline. VFX · Post-production.

The Line We Hold

AI, and human craft.

Every decision that matters stays with people. What the story is about, whose story it is, what a scene should feel like, which take is true, what is culturally right and what is merely convenient — those are not delegated. The tools generate options. Direction chooses. A film made by nobody is not a film worth making.

The Workflow

How an AI-assisted production runs.

01

Concept

The story and the intent, written and agreed before any tool is opened.

Human-led
02

Visual Development

Rapid exploration of looks and worlds, narrowed by direction to a single visual language.

AI-assisted
03

Production

Live-action shooting, generated material, or both — chosen by what the scene needs.

Blended
04

Refinement & VFX

Generated material is corrected, composited and graded by hand until it belongs to the film.

Craft
05

Edit & Delivery

Cut, sound, mix and platform-spec masters, exactly as any other production.

out of reach?

If you have a film, a campaign or a world that a conventional budget said no to, this is the conversation worth having.
