Ashish Patel produced Hellaro — the first Gujarati film to win the National Award for Best Feature Film. Making it taught him something simple: Gujarat has all the talent and all the stories it will ever need, and that talent deserves more support to do its best work at home.
Saarthi is his way of giving that support back. Not to lead the industry, but to serve it — a place where the talent he saw on Hellaro has more room to grow, and where fewer of our stories have to leave Gujarat to be finished.
It is the role he has chosen for this chapter — to hold the reins, and let others take the bow.
